3 weeks, 15 days and 13 hours...

okay so, hui yee and i have thought this through and we've figured that as long as you don't sleep, you've got 3months left. just be sure you don't fall asleep during the actual exam without completing the paper... thank god sarah wasn't around then to burst our umm i mean my bubble. LOL



there's something wrong with me... =.= if you really really look closely, one eye looks smaller than the other. it's been that way for quite a while now... maybe it's like a sign that i'm sleep deprived (ha ha)... it's not so noticeable in the pictures cause my hair is partially covering the one on the right but in real life... i look in the mirror and it's like o______O

my cousin once said that people supposedly have two sides to their faces. i think it's true cause when i cover half a picture with my hand, my left side looks happier. .. despite being the one with the smaller eye -_______-"



study group last week at hui yee's,



plus, an attempt at cycling... haven't been on my bike(or any bike for that matter) in a looong while so i was uh... rusty. okay i was never frigging awesome at it but i could uh.. cycle as long as the ground was flat. obviously i wasn't very good at it cause some random guy apparently felt the need to interfere -.- i blame it on the quasi-punctured tyre.


honestly, i never really go for study group sessions with high expectations of studying a great deal... but this one went... considerably well. at least i did a couple of addmath Qs and we ran through some history and biology stuff together. Not much but not too bad either considering my history of group studies... like the one during the last hols when i went over to shing yee's place for the afternoon... and don't even get me started on the ones in McDs back in march. kiddy birthday parties and physics just don't mix. not unless you actually wanna come back with a headache that'd last a day.




p.s.: i still prefer living in a house and all but condos/apartments are just sooo convenient!! it's like, you want a pool, you've got a pool.. doesn't even require any mode of transport whatsoever. Not that i like swimming that much... it's more of the sitting by the edge with my legs in the water. and no, it's not the same effect as sticking my feet into a bucket of water. -.- makes me wanna get one of those inflatable pool thingis. Y'know, the sort that can be blown up with a pump then filled with water. don't know the actual name for it.


p.p.s: oh oh and pretty umbrella!! first time using it since i got it from shanghai in december...

the day is drawing closer... have so got to pull myself together and really focus now :|







... and so, i have yet to watch WALL-E (was suppose to watch it with the other leo club members during the installation)

Whatever happened to that once upon a time... ?

with wide eyed innocence,
she ventured into this great unknown...

As children we heard stories of far away princesses and pixie dust that'd make us fly. We dreamed of frilly frock and sweet sixteen, cheshire cat smiles and mad hatter tea parties. Going down that rabbit hole was like discovering a whole new world. It was like an escape route. But time has passed and it's time to do more than just chase after that white rabbit. We've got dreams to remember and the need to think of ways to turn those dreams into reality. Since childhood, everyone has had a dream, an ambition. But since then, as the day we leave the comfort of homes and seek independence, draws closer, most people begin to realize that their dreams are no longer quite the same as when they were four or five. Goals and desires become more practical and realistic. We begin to doubt the more far-fetched ones. Or at least I do. This is where hesitance comes in. Love, happiness and wealth. It's more than just a pack of cards or visiting mermaids in the blue lagoon. Nothing magical or anything extraordinary in that sense, but it's life. It's the real world. We're not going to find a genie just by rubbing a golden lamp. A genie that'd make three of our wishes come true. Getting into a good college/university is just the beginning. There'll be obstacles and distractions, temptations like bottles saying "DRINK ME" and confectioneries labeled "EAT ME". No one ever said the route to success is an easy one. Whether we'll still have the same friends is perhaps, the least of our worries.

i hope i'll be happy

Eventually, i suppose we'll all head in different directions. What frustrates me though is a lot of people seem to already know what they want to do next... (which course to take..etc)

Today was our school's education fair. Listened to a couple of talks (were entitled to about 3) but i skipped the last one. The first was methods of walt disney by TAR college. Was okay, basically about the theme parks, mostly on management. Headed over to the hall where the little college stands were.. Met up with shing yee who was all for supporting limkokwing. After hanging around a bit (thank god we didn't sit down for the opening ceremony which in typical malaysian tradition seemed to take forever just to begin), went again to the auditorium for the "studying in australia" talked. Decided to skip the next one i had originally signed up for and continued browsing at all the pamphlets and whatnot that were displayed in the hall. INTI, KDU, KBU, raffles, equator...the usual. Representatives from the one academy didn't come this year. bummer. always liked their pretty graphics/designs best :P (considering that's usually the best to look at)
