it's annoying to have the memory of a goldfish. good in the sense that this way, i manage to forget things i don't wish to remember. block out the most irritating bits of my past. problem is, while there are the bad..there are also always things worth remembering.
funny how sometimes some parts of my memory seem fogged up and i can only remember say, conversations but with whom i can't recall. this tends to get frustrating at times :O .. then there are the certain bits that have stayed for a long time. like how i always link global warming to the lakehouse because of what sandra bullocks' character says at the start of the movie right before keanu reeve's "death", and how the mention of just like heaven never fails to remind me of that.
just a thought...

was looking at some of his work the other day and personally, i thought the "scissors and the tongue picture" was the most disturbing of them all. basically in the photo, it looked as though the scissors was about to cut/cutting the tongue.. didn't have a good look for obvious reasons :|

like this eleven year old who somehow morphed into a completely
different thirteen year old for instance.
i don't quite like the thought of change in some ways..
but in other ways, i welcome it :]

3 weeks into the new year, and here's my new year's resolutions list
i WILL keep them :)
.. well half of them at least *pinky swear* ;]
1. record everything down.. don't wanna start losing memories.. camwhore lots (tee hee) and umm actually keep up to date with my diary (and not one pathetic entry in the entire year.. LOL)
2. give people their presents on time and not like 8 months later :|
3. don't rush to school. leave the house earlier everyday, preferably by 7 35am, and not drive like a madwoman just to get to school on time or i might start doing illegal stuff like some people at the kfc junction =.=
4. work hard. final year before heading off to uni (or gap year whatever.. still final school year before uni). i cannot mess this up. i simply just cannot. if i fuck this up i might as well go bungee jumping without the rope =.=
5. patience. eventho mom is nagging me for the xxbajillion time, i will not get mad/angry/annoyed/irritated/bitchy and umm all that shazz.
6. go to the gym. exercise. lose _ kg. the last being the topmost priority :P
7. read more intellectual stuff... like the times or something that talks about worldly stuff so that i can be mature and wordly (-_-) haha
8. the most important of all :)
try out newthings

actually i'm pretty sure it's not the exams.. i think it's him that's making me so behind all this drama-watching LOL

reaffirmed the fact that i can't bowl (though i wasn'tcoughtheworstcough ;] )
the choc cake was awesome (well they all were)
but shu lin being shu lin just had to say hers is better
just cause she's got a secret recipe (an actual no-one-outside-her-family-knows-it one :O)
which led to the discussion about lemon's zest.. (which ended up being misheard by someone as lemon's ass rofl.. pfft these people :P )
went to gurney with shaeno last night before wei ling's and started checking off all the things that i wanna buy.. oh and there are all these prezzies that need getting too.. =_=
new years resolution #1: stop being such a crappy present-giver and actually give people their presents on time ._.
