IB-ing

MIDTERM BREAK ! :]

as of now.. :D

IB is fun really... but i could use a break just about now, even if it is a short one :P

so i guess it has already been half a term (a month and a half?)...
and i know i've mentioned this a gazillion times already but time seriously flies.
i mean it's already the second month of the year and i haven't got my new
year's resolution list up yet x_______x

oh and apparently even though i've already blogged about school-ing, i haven't actually explained what it is i'm doing.

IB Diploma ( International Baccalaureate)
Basically you pick 6subjects
1 from each category
english,foreign languages,humanities,sciences,math,arts&electives
3higher levels and 3standard levels :]
the total would be 42marks, 7marks for each sub..
then another 3 would be from TOK(theory of knowledge)
and the EE(extended essay) :P

i've discovered some things about my "new" school.. like how
everyone moves quite fast, from one class to another...
and how i should probably start carrying around lip balm cause
the air-conditioned classrooms are making my lips incredibly dry.

as for the people, some of them are really nice :)
everyone seems so mature~

... and then there's sunset bistro where the service is slow...
was late for class once and was almost late yesterday... had to rush like crazyyy o(>_<)o squished 9people into wei ling's myvi [record !] two people in the front seat next to the driver.. seven people at the back.. so +wei ling, that was 10 people.. and we passed by a police car o_______o friday lunch breaks are the longest cause of two free periods before the normal lunch time.. so went to a playground once after randomly driving around

About the Fundraising...

sold some things this past week and went over to gen's to bake :)
got the orders done for the pre-vday deliveries :P
distributed some forms for students to make orders
then delivered them on thursday and friday o(^-^)o +the dedication
cookies, cupcakes and roses :D
then there were the handcrafted stuff :P
midori made super cute hearts and bracelets..
and i made gingerbreadman keychains but
i forgot to take pictures T_T

Have been participating in lots of extra curricular activities (ECA)
this year o(^-^)o and to think others already used to say i was always very busy
in the past :P

It's partly for CAS, which stands for Creativity, Action and Service.
it's sort of something to be completed to get the IB diploma...
which reminds me i really gotta start on a CAS blog ^^"

So far i've done the respect week workshop (explaining the importance of being different, belonging together to younger students), am a member of the Uplands Environmental Club (helping out with the altering clothes), joined tennis, badminton, kickboxing, yoga and netball
