David A. vs David C.

reasons he'll win(besides being extremely talented):
he's got the typical american idol image
he has that edge and coolness
reasons he won't:
controlling/contestant harassing stage dad, the producers and all would have to sort of consult him i believe, seeing that David A. is still underage.
the winner isn't allowed to form a band so unless the rules are bent, he'll have to go solo which is just not right. (think daughtry. Losing was pretty much what started it)

Personally, I like David Archuleta best although i enjoy listening to some of David Cook's songs too... I think he(David C.) has actually improved a lot since the start of the competition because i watched his audition and was not all that blown away(like quite a number of people) until he performed "Hello" during the top 16. David A. on the other hand was labelled as the "Chosen One" from the start ;)

David A. vs David C. ?!

Well, i originally thought one of them would be the top 4 shocker(which is expected to happen this year... y'know, the "curse" that happens every other year), and i was leaning towards David C. as the one to be voted off but now... i'm not so sure. Even though David C. is said to have the smaller fanbase, i think it really depends on whose fans are more loyal, persistent and die-hard. If the fans think their fave is "safe" then well, that's risky. ... Then again, since Michael's elimination was a shocker, so I'm starting to think that maybe there won't be one anymore...? =/

In the audience, david A. seems more popular cause of all those screaming fangirls... plus, when it was his turn to sing during the group song on idol gives back, you could here people clapping. Although that's only like, what? 0.1% of the voters, it's still pretty cool. David A. was so cute at the start of the top 24, as though he was at lost on what to do when people started cheering for him. =]

The Pimping
At the start of the top 24, David A. was clearly the one to beat and the judges praised him for that. After a couple of weeks though, they seemed to have switched to praising David C. ... and then lately, it's back to supporting David A. It's like they're gonna be dancing back and forth with the praises so that the two Davids end up in the finale. Think Ruben vs Clay... (though i didn't watch that season) It was supposedly unpredictable so maybe the idol people want a DavidvsDavid finale to attract lots of people for good network ratings. It'd be intense, nerve-wrecking,oh-so-exciting~ whoopie for them. -,-

+ i miss michael johns =(
was hoping he'd have a top5 finish at the very least T_T
