I LOVE the BOOKand theDISNEY movie and the restaurant sounds sooo cute!
this dining restaurant (alice's the labyrith of fantasy dining) is based on "Alice in wonderland" with a gothicand lolita concept. Food is casual french and italian, based of japanese material (whatever that means). Lots of cocktails and tiny appetizers
A gothicthemed restaurant where the waitresses dress up in dark French maid outfits and the waiters wear tuxedos as if coming out of a Dracula horror movie. Theinterior is suppose to have a semi-eerie effect. + the menu sounds interesting... but honestly, it's really the interior that interests me. There are suppose to be various rooms like "alter" "victim", "coffin", "blood" floor, "cross" and "black"
TIME ... is apparently something I'm running out of... although unlike certain korean/chinese drama series' girls, i'm not dying or anything like that(not that i know of).. CHOI!! but

Oh Em Gi!!! soooo sweet+romantic!! haha.. although i didn't think the final episode was that great and i hate endings like that.... the dying bit...
The gist of it: 2 couples---> couple #1 Ling Ka Yan (Ah Yan) and Yau Zi Wing ( Ah Weng) couple #2 Wong Chi Gwun (Sa Sa) and Hui Wai Yan (Don)
Ah Yan is a salesgirl in a pet shop. Diagnosed with a terminal illness as a child, her family members(especially her dad) are overprotective over her. She has never fallen in love before (despite crushing on her doctor) until she meets Ah Weng, a uninhibited lifeguard without a steady occupation. They're probably the sweeter couple whereas the other (Sa Sa and Don) is more comical and light-hearted. Ah Weng and Don are both born on the seventh day(of August), hence the title. It’s basically a story about how two people born on the same day lead very different lives. Ah Weng and Ah Yan have to overcome a lot with misunderstandings, his past(his dad), third parties(the doctor and his ex-gf who's a suicidal AIDS patient)...etc among others.
At the beginning of the series, Don thinks of Sa Sa as some sort of angel/luck because she always seemed to turn up whenever he encountered troubles... then again, she really is the cause of them. After he learns of this, they constantly bicker. That is, until he thinks that she's the daughter of a wealthy business tycoon... (it turns out her friend Jessie is the actual daughter). He tries his best to please her despite her crazy demands, reminding himself that it's all for a pot of gold.. (she's really a fishmongers daughter). On the other hand, she puts up with him, thinking that it'd be good material for her comic.

Sooo worth the read!! I doubted it when i first saw the book a couple of years back because i didn't like the dead husband bit but... the whole "list" thing is sooo "awww" worthy
The gist of it: Holly and Gerry, no one could possibly imagine one without the other. Then, he died. Holly was devastated. After two months of grieving and not leaving her house, daydreaming about the past, she is brought back to reality by a certain envelope her mother claims to have in her house, called "The List". Instantly, Holly remembers how she, Gerry, John and Sharon used to talk about it. It turns out that there was one envelope for each month for the rest of the year. Gerry meant for her to open each envelope at the start of each month. Inside contained guidance and various things to do such as buying a new bedside lamp, clearing out his old things, participating in a karaoke contest which involved overcoming a fear, going on a holiday and getting a new job. It's like he's helping her move on with life. At the end of each letter, there are the words "P.S: I Love You", hence the title. With the help of her quirky family and friends. Holly gradually learns to make new memories while cherishing the old. In the final letter, Gerry asks her to open her heart to new opportunities and fall in love again. *sniff*

Shopped around with Yeong Lyn and Xin Yi most of the time... bumped into quite a few people from school(juanna,sook lee,beng zuan, anne,carrin,rachel...etc), most were there because of leo idol, to support hooi lee. (the picture of her i took wasn't really good so i decided against posting it)

It was the 3rd round (I believe) and there were only 10 contestants left, two who would advance to the national stage ;) There was one particular guy who i thought was good, plus he sang a JJ song.. (jiang1 lai3 i think) which was one of the not-so-manychinese songs that i know of *_______* Of course, he got first.. LOL, yeong lyn's friend got 2nd and some union girl got 3rd... Personally i thought the first few seemed very nervous ... and Hooi Li sang well... oh well
